Edgar was a true veteran at our Hannover-Isernhagen location. Since the 1980s, he was active for Döpke Logistik – initially in international long-haul transport with routes as far as Casablanca, and later in national scheduled transport.

In his 34 years, Edgar covered an incredible 4 million kilometers. This is equivalent to more than 100 circumnavigations of the Earth – and all without a single accident or sick day. This record speaks not only for experience but also for discipline, passion, and a true calling.

Since the early 2000s, Erwin was an integral part of our team in Endingen. He loved his Renault Premium and remained loyal to long-haul transport until his last day – even though he could have retired long ago. But Erwin was truly dedicated. He saw Döpke not just as an employer, but as family. Together, we shared many special moments and overcame challenges.

What Edgar and Erwin achieved goes far beyond the ordinary. It shows: Being a driver at Döpke Logistik means responsibility, cohesion, and genuine appreciation.

For young drivers, this is a clear message: Those who commit themselves, think proactively, and contribute will be recognized. And whoever becomes part of Döpke belongs to the family.
